An ongoing Koreanovela which has a lot of blood and gore that make me queasy but why do I continue to watch it? A few reasons:
a. It offers medical info to such an extent that I can relate with some medical conditions featured, or think I do. Which can be both good and bad. I’m not telling which. Am I a hypochondriac then? I hope not.
b. It shows that doctors are human. They get sick
c. Pride and ambition. Doctors have this these too, sometimes to such an extent that they kowtow to a superior who promises them a position up there.
d. Doctors can be trigger happy. They can be drastic, recommending surgery sometimes for the sake of money, sometimes for the sake of expediency, or a misjudgment.
e. Doctors cry. They feel bad when a patient dies. they take time to get over it.
f. Doctors care.
