I had been craving for some but it took time before we had the ingredients, particularly pimiento. A sister was planning to buy a bottle in a deli but there was none available either. Finally, yesterday, we got a can of pimiento, quick melt cheese, etc. I looked for a recipe online and found this site.
Tweaked it a bit. Instead of evaporated milk, I had HHA replace that with mayo. And instead of salt and pepper, sugar.
Yummy. HHA used bread from The Breadery in UP Town Center. I forget the name of the bread but it is a square, looks like croissant on the outside and inside. One can slice it to make maybe 4 sandwiches. Very buttery.
