We had two kinds of mushrooms available – white and brown, both fresh. It has happened that we had ended up with spoiled mushrooms in the past, making me wince because fresh mushrooms don’t come cheap. But HHA sometimes forgets to tell me we still have, so before what we had spoiled again, I went in search of a mushroom soup recipe.
I have tried wild mushroom soup in some restos and liked them. How to recreate? Ah, truffle oil? But then, the basic soup should taste good to begin with, right?
Found this recipe and decided to try it. Son was very much impressed.
